Early Steps toward Forming a Closed-loop Vite Ecology
On September 30th, after more than one-month of R&D, we are going to launch five products: Vite Web Wallet, Vite iOS App (which includes a wallet function), Vite Block Explorer, Vite Store, and Vite Pay.
Vite Web Wallet
Vite Web Wallet is faster and more convenient than traditional desktop wallet. This is a light wallet based on HD structure, which can generate Vite account, with the functions of querying account balance, sending transaction, default signing transaction, etc. The ability to check for tokens issued on the Vite system has also been added.
Main features of the Vite Web Wallet are as follows:
- Web Wallet is an easy-to-use, secure and smooth HD node-based light node wallet;
- The user creates a wallet account through “mnemonics” and manages all currency addresses through them;
- Display and transfer multi-currency issued by Vite system. At present, VITE, VCP, VV and other currencies are displayed by default. VCP and VV will be used as community incentives;
- Add scan code transfer function to prepare for subsequent mobile version of APP;
- Import the keystore file compatible with the desktop version of the wallet to retrieve the account;
- Generating multiple addresses in a wallet account.

Vite iOS App
In order to make Vite payment more convenient, the Vite App iOS version will also be launched. The Vite App is a Vite light wallet with HD structure and supports the Vite Test Net.
The main features of the Vite iOS App wallet:
- [Account related] the creation of accounts through mnemonics, recovery of accounts, and support of the BIP44 protocol;
- [safety verification] fingerprint / face recognition to launch App;
- [wallet module] multi-currency balance display and transfer in and out functions. Transferring can be done by sweeping the QR code;
- [My Module] viewing all transaction records, managing wallets, and generating new addresses, mnemonic exporting, etc.
- [Language Support] currently Chinese and English;

Vite Block Explorer
The Vite block explorer is a website that queries Vite network transaction information (a preview version was released in August 2018). Currently, it supports accounts, tokens, transactions, snapshot block queries, and a list of basic stats. The new version of the block browser supports the display of statistical information, token inquiries, and DAG ledger structure visualization function. The information display is more intuitive.
Main functions of Vite Block Explorer
- [Overall description] Added statistical information, chart display and data screening, DAG structure chart, token account list, personal account details, and multi-currency display;
- [statistical information] contains statistical information such as trading curve, system TPS, trading volume in the past 30 days, holding account charts and data screening;
- [DAG structure diagram] Visualize DAG structure of Vite system, and display the account structure more intuitively;
- [Token List] added token display and token account list;
- [Personal Account Details] The personal account details page is compatible with multi-currency display.

Vite Store
Vite Store is an online shopping site that sells Vite merchandise and accepts payment over the Vite Test Net. Vite Pay is a technology embedded within Vite Store, responsible for the payment function of product purchase work. At the time of payment, the website will be directed to Vite Pay.
The products currently sold in the Vite Store include t-shirts, hats, drinking glasses, and credit for mobile phone charges. These products all feature the Vite logo. More Vite products will be launched in the future. Unlike other online-shopping, there are two modes of payment: checkout by registered users and checkout as guests. If you are a new user, you may select “guest” to checkout and do not need to register to complete the payment. In order to ensure customer satisfaction, the store also has a product return and exchange function.

Vite Pay
Vite Pay is a technology embedded within Vite Store, responsible for the payment function of product purchase work. At the time of payment, the website will be directed to Vite Pay.
At the time of payment, the Vite Pay screen will display the amount of the order and the currency information. The payment currency used in the Vite Store is VCP (Vite Community Points), which can be paid by scanning QR code or entering the transfer address. Vite Pay is implemented on the Vite network. The payment speed is fast, at the order of seconds. After the payment is complete, the order amount will be settled to the merchant fund account.
Summary
There are many types of digital wallets on the market today, but the common problem is complicated operation. The types of digital assets supported are not enough; the user experience is poor and the efficiency of operations is low. Vite has tackled the above problems with the goal of developing a secure, easy-to-use blockchain wallet product. The launch of Vite web and iOS wallets makes it easier for users to use blockchain wallets. With the Vite block browser, users can understand the current operation of the Vite network anytime and anywhere, easily find information on each transaction, and have an efficient experience at digital assets management.
The launch of Vite Store connects the Vite token, the Vite wallet, the Vite Pay technology and users, is part of early steps toward forming a closed-loop ecology. In the future, Vite fans can obtain the VCP token (issued on Vite’s network) through Vite Labs’ community rewards campaigns. VCP tokens can be used to purchase Vite products such as t-shirts and hats in the store. You can also choose to pre-pay for your phone bills, purchase virtual reward point cards and other products.
